Apolis Tea was founded by Audrey Paule & Alex Page. They first met in Alaska 13 years ago, where they both grew up. The history of tea is as much about innovation as it is about tradition. They are always looking for new ingredients that no one else works with (like goldenberry and cinnamon leaf) and get excited about producers who work with interesting cultivars and use biodynamic or organic farming techniques. They promise that every tea holds true to tradition but also brings a little something special. Every successful business has a reason for being. Apolis Tea's is craftsmanship. Their craft is in the blending and sourcing of teas and ingredients. Their producers are craftsmen and women as well; together, they work to create noteworthy teas you can get excited about.
Vanilla Chai: Flavor: cardamom, spices, vanilla. A hearty blend of traditional chai spices in a base of organic black teas with just a touch of creamy vanilla to round it out. Excellent black, with milk or over ice!
Blackberry Bergamot: Flavor: ripe blackberry, citrus, tart. This organic house blend of black teas combines juicy, ripe blackberries with the bright citrus flavor of cold-pressed bergamot oil. Excellent with milk and sugar; delicious hot; and show stopping over ice.
Honey Mint: Flavor: mint, honey, flowers. What goes best with minty green tea? Honey! Osmanthus flowers have a honey-like flavor, paired with a touch of orange blossom, this blend is light and refreshing with a flowery aftertaste. Not to get too carried away, but it makes us think of warm sunny days and bees droning around in the garden.
Sweet Cream Earl Grey: Flavor: vanilla, cream, citrus. We fused bright citrusy bergamot with creamy vanilla and just a touch of orange blossom in this black tea blend to create a totally different cup of Earl Grey.
