Our Scent Designers guide you through every step of the process — from your very first sniff to the moment your finished fragrance is sealed, labeled, and placed in your hands. Most of our guests have never done anything like this before. That's exactly why they love it.
What you leave with isn't a scent someone else designed for a mass market. It's yours. Built from the notes you were drawn to, shaped by what you wanted to feel, and registered in our database so you can reorder it — from anywhere, anytime — for the rest of your life.
You begin at your own Perfumer's Organ — the same tool used by Master Perfumers around the world. Fifty individual scent notes are yours to explore, plus additional notes that rotate with the season and scent trends. Florals, woods, musks, citrus, amber, gourmands — you'll smell your way through them and start to understand what you're drawn to and why.
Your Scent Designer walks alongside you. They'll explain fragrance families, note structure, and how scents interact — in plain language, not AP-level chemistry class. They'll help you trust what your nose is telling you. And when your formula comes together, they'll blend it to professional proportions and bottle it in front of you.
You walk out with a finished, wearable fine fragrance. Bottled. Wrapped. Completely one of a kind.
Our full-size 60ml bottle is $90. Our 30ml bottle is $60. Pricing includes your experience and your finished fragrance.
Kids ages 8–12 can participate with a rollerball perfume experience at $25. Teens ages 13–16 have their own options starting at $35.
Your formula lives with us forever. Every fragrance made at Noteology receives a unique NOTE ID# and is registered in our secure database. Moved across the country? Running low three years from now? We'll recreate your exact formula and ship it to you.

Do I need any experience? None at all. Most of our guests are first-timers. Our Scent Designers guide you through every step — you just bring your curiosity.
How long does it take? Plan on about an hour to 90 minutes for an individual session. It's a relaxed, unhurried experience. The more people you have in your group, the longer it tends to go. We don't rush it. We let you experience it.
Do I need to book in advance? Yes — reservations are required for all Custom Studio sessions. Walk-ins are occasionally accommodated but we can't guarantee availability. Booking ahead ensures your time is protected and your Scent Designer is ready for you. Call 570-343-2100 to book.
Can I do this as a couple? Absolutely. Couples are one of our favorite (and most popular) bookings — you each make your own fragrance, and the difference between what two people create in the same room is always fascinating.
Can kids participate? Yes. Ages 8 and up are welcome with an accompanying adult. We tailor the experience to their age.
