On an early summer morning, a friend and I went on a hike in the Topatopa Mountains of Ojai Valley, California. The sun was hot as it kissed our skin. The land was arid, branches of earth cracking beneath our feet, as we greeted hikers along the trail. A few miles into the hike, we came upon a small watering hole where the trees above kept it lush, cool and vibrantly green. The temperature cooled as the earth released gushes of cool water onto smooth grey rocks. It was the perfect respite for our day in the Cali sun. ~Danielle, Founder, Noteology
