At Noteology, your bridal party gathers in our Custom Studio in downtown Scranton to create something no one else in the world has — a fragrance (perfect for your wedding day) or hand-poured candles designed entirely by you, for you. Your girls each make their own. You leave with something beautiful, personal, and completely unforgettable.
No two perfumes smell the same. That's the point.
Choose Your Experience Your group chooses one — perfume or candles. Both are private to your group, guided by our team start to finish.
Perfume Party (the signature experience) You and your guests each work with your own Perfumer's Organ — the same tool used by Master Perfumers worldwide — choosing from 50+ individual scent notes to build a fragrance that's yours alone. Our Scent Designers guide you through the process: the art, the science, and the surprising moment when everything clicks and you know that's it. Your finished fragrance is bottled, labeled, and registered in our database so you can reorder it forever.
$60 per guest for a 30ml bottle. $90 per guest for a 60ml bottle, which includes a complimentary Perfumette (travel bottle).
Candle Party (hands-on and creative) Your group learns to blend, mix, and hand-pour their own custom candles — guided by our Chandlers from start to finish. You choose your scents, pour your wax, and leave with two candles that smell exactly the way you wanted them to. It's hands-on, it's personal, and it's genuinely fun.
$60 per guest. Each guest makes 2 candles.
When your group is 6 or more, it's a party. Parties get private use of the Custom Studio — no strangers, just your people in the studio. For after-hours parties of 12 or more, we close the entire shop — studio and boutique — just for your event.
You're welcome to bring champagne, wine, prosecco, beer, or cider to sip while you create. We provide a wine opener, bottle holder, cups, water, and napkins. No hard liquor, please — and if you want it cold, make sure to bring ice, we do not provide it.
An 18% gratuity is applied per person for all groups of 6 or more. A $50 deposit holds your date at booking.
Minimum advance notice is required for all party bookings, especially for groups adding extras. The earlier you reach out, the better your date options.

A Noteology party is structured enough that nobody gets lost, personal enough that everyone feels seen, and relaxed enough that it genuinely feels like a celebration. We handle everything — you just show up.
Make it a full experience with a charcuterie box.
Each guest receives their own individual charcuterie box — tied with ribbon, labeled for the occasion, and designed to be savored alongside your experience. These aren't shared platters. They're personal, beautifully built boxes that guests can take home if anything's left over.
Adult boxes include: Crackers with artisanal meats and cheeses, a variety of fresh and dried fruits, honey, jam and a sweet treat tied with a celebratory ribbon.

Charcuterie boxes are a party-only add-on and are not available for individual studio sessions.

All party guests receive 20% off purchases in the retail boutique on the day of your event. Every guest arrives to a personalized placemat at their station — a small but intentional touch that sets the tone from the moment they sit down. We hang a celebratory banner too. How many people can come? Parties start at 6 guests. After-hours private parties require 12 or more guests — the entire shop is yours for the evening. Maximum is 24 guests.
Can we bring champagne? Yes — it's BYOB for all adult parties. Champagne, prosecco, wine, beer, cider, and seltzer are all welcome. We provide cups, water, a wine opener, and a bottle holder. We do not provide ice. No hard liquor, please.
Do you do after-hours parties? Yes. For groups of 12 or more, we close the shop entirely — studio and boutique — just for your event. It's a fully private experience with no other guests in the space.
Can guests pay individually? Absolutely. For parties like bachelorettes where the host isn't covering everyone, each guest can pay for their own experience on the day of the party.
How far in advance do we need to book? We recommend at least 2 weeks in advance, especially for Saturdays. The earlier you reach out, the better your date options.
Can we add charcuterie? Yes — individual charcuterie boxes are available as a party add-on for $20 per guest (6 box minimum). They're paid at the time of booking and require advance notice, so be sure to mention it when you request your date.
Do we have to clean up? Not a thing. From start to finish, we handle everything. Your job is to celebrate.
