Fulton & Roark
Each Fulton & Roark fragrance is designed to evoke a vivid feeling, and a sense of atmosphere and occasion. Using a blend of naturally sourced essential oils and premium fragrance ingredients, each cologne offers its own experience. Fulton & Roark got their start by shaking up the fragrance industry — they took all of the artistry and ingredients of the finest traditional spray colognes, and reimagined them in a sleek, modern, travel-friendly format.
Since 2013, their award-winning solid colognes have given customers a sense of personal style and atmosphere that travels anywhere they do. Smelling great during and after a grooming routine makes the whole process more enjoyable, and we are all about capturing the perfect fragrance design for every moment.
Initially released as our first limited reserve offering, Clearwater has solidly earned a home among our permanent fragrance collection. The inspiration for this cologne started with our discovery of Madagascan geranium, a flower grown off the coast of Southern Africa that offers a rich, green fragrance. Unlike its Egyptian and North American cousins, the Madagascan variety of geranium has a robust quality that makes it a perfect centerpiece for a modern man’s cologne. Notes of fresh water and oakmoss are complemented with hints of wood and clean citrus, combining to create a fragrance that reminds us of the Clearwater River in Washington state, rushing from the Olympic Mountains toward the sea.
Notes include Madagascar Geranium, Oakmoss
What makes a man intriguing? It’s a delicate balance of a few things—a quality of character that is not entirely understood and at the same time not completely unfamiliar. He is confident but never brash, concise in speech but not terse, and precise with his actions but not meticulous. The same could be said for a great men’s fragrance. Like its namesake, the fragrance of Palmetto is both warm and welcoming while carrying an air of mystery. The clean and citrusy top notes give way to pink pepper spice and magnolia flower, complemented with lingering notes of incense and cedar. This intricate fragrance is ideal as a Spring and Summer scent, but with its approachable complexity, it may just become your new year-round signature cologne.
Notes include Brazilian Pepper, Cedarwood, Magnolia.
On the coast of Oregon, 800 feet above the crashing ocean waves below, is the peak of Cape Perpetua. Though heavily forested with enormous evergreens, openings provide miles-long views of the ocean and its jagged coast. While the beauty of Perpetua’s forest would be noteworthy on its own, the fact that it is surrounded by the sea makes it truly spectacular. Like its namesake, our Perpetua fragrance is noteworthy for the way two elements so unexpectedly intersect. The cologne opens with a deep blend of Cedarwood and Mahogany, which is offset with clean and bright notes of neroli, bergamot, jasmine and amber. The result is a fresh and inviting fragrance that is somehow also sturdy and complex.
Notes include Atlas Cedar, Neroli, Amber.
A sophisticated blend of Australian sandalwood, rich leather and amber with hints of dried fruits and reeds, Shackleford creates an effect that is as rugged-meets-sophisticated as the man wearing it. Shackleford Banks is a small North Carolina island famous for the wild horses that have roamed its beaches for centuries. Also known for its distinctive windblown trees that cover the island, this untamed paradise seemed like a fitting namesake for our warm and woody cologne. This distinguished fragrance speaks to man’s attraction to both the elemental and the refined.
Notes include Warm, Amber, Wood.
Now available in our permanent collection, Sterling was our all-time fastest-selling Limited Reserve cologne. Sterling is our homage to the rich and complex fragrance that is tobacco, and we spent more than a year getting the formulas just right. The aromatic blend opens with warm and sweet tobacco, which gives way to smooth leather and is completed with notes of dark amber and vanilla. The resulting fragrance is assertive but not aggressive, possessing masculinity without machismo. Sterling was named for Mount Sterling in the Western Mountains of North Carolina. While not easily accessible, the hike to the top of the abandoned fire tower on the mountain's peak is worth the effort. We think that like climb, your experience with Sterling will be well worth the wait.
Notes include Tobacco, Leather, Vanilla.
Our homage to crisp sea air, Tybee opens with delicate top notes of amber and brisk musk that give way to an inviting blend of rosewood and cedarwood. The resulting aura is both clean and complex with a distinct atmospheric quality. An ideal summer fragrance, this bright blend never strays toward the soapy, but instead remains the perfect complement to fresh air, open water and sunlight. During the Industrial Revolution, Tybee Island was thought to have exceptionally clean salt air, and it soon became a favorite destination for the urban elite looking for a respite from the pollution-related issues they suffered in their city homes.
Notes include White Musk, Rosewood, Cedar.
